Spirit of the Wolf It was morning in the forest. The pale pink glow softly came into the den in which the new mother, father, and infant pups slept. The young female awoke, blinking her blue eyes at the light. She turned and gently nuzzled her mate, then stood and shook out her dusty brown and white coat as she walked out of the den. Around her, members of her pack slept in accordance to their rank. Quietly she walked past the still bodies and headed down to the river for a morning drink.

The six cubs that stuck together after Simba's "death".

Chumvi and Kula, who I think are twins. Though some my disagree because of the text in "Nala's Dare", but to me it reads that their mother didn't trust Chumvi to stay out as long as Kula. He definitely is a little trouble maker.

Tojo, Malka, and Tama. Just three friends who stuck through it even in the hardest of times.

And then there's Nala. Well, after Simba's death, she wanted to be brave, but took a leadership and protective role over her other friends.

These six tried to stick together through it all.

This is the first time I have drawn most of these characters, and I am really happy about it.
